Xilinx, Inc. is an American technology company that is primarily a supplier of programmable logic devices. The company invented the field-programmable gate array and is the semiconductor company that created the first fabless manufacturing model.

Currently, Vivado is the primary IDE for simulation, synthesis, place and route and bitstream generation for Xilinx Boards.

Boards

Xilinx manufactures a range of FPGAs. The university has access to a range of boards which use Xilinx FPGAs on board.
